Are You ready to live your life so that it knocks your socks off?
Do you ever wonder…
- If you’re leading the life you truly want?
- When the last time was you dreamed of what you want?
- What abundance looks like?
- What if you opened your datebook to only appointments that you’re passionate about?
- How would it feel to do the things each day that you want to do—not what you think you should do?
- About easily attracting your desires to you?
Well, I do! I’m Sandy, the Knock Your Socks Off Lady! I live my life with ease and abundance and a plan to achieve my dreams, and you can too!
Let’s get started!
Some time ago, a promising young writer named Jillian Ward wrote an article for this site. Someone saw the article and anonymously contributed donations to Jillian's writing career!

Dear Anonymous Sponsor,
Thank you so much for your financial recognition toward my career goals. It will go far in helping me to continue toward my pursuit of success as a writer.
I look forward to being able to help others when I can return the generosity you’ve shown. I am very grateful and will wisely use this help in my career pursuits.
As an update: I attended the Yosemite Writers Conference last summer on a scholarship, where I was able to meet with best-selling author David Morrell. He has also offered to mentor me and we communicate regularly. I am now in a location that allows me to participate in classes offered by my mentor Bonnie Hearn Hill. From the combined efforts of David and Bonnie, as well as my continued college education, I have learned much and grown significantly. I am aggressively writing a new novel, DEAD KINGDOM, which is the first manuscript in a series titled THE SUB-ROSA LIST. My goal is to finish it this summer, and will send out to agents soon afterward while I attend college full-time. It is all very exciting, and I’m eagerly looking forward to what the future holds. :-)
This very generous gift has been an amazing blessing, and has helped me to continue striving, as I definitely feel I am headed in the right direction. I am thankful beyond belief. Whoever has done this for me . . . thank you.
I hope those who read this, or hear of this, know that dreams should always be followed because hope and desire are tremendous motivators. Hold onto your dreams and know, as long as you are determined, anything is possible and everything is within reach. ‘You’ must believe in yourself, be willing to work hard and never, never give up.
Sincerely,
Jillian Ward
Dear Anonymous Donor,
Thank you for your generous encouragement and continued faith in my future endeavors. Because of your help and financial support I am able to work toward my dream. I am sincerely moved and I thank you again.
As an update in my writing: I have completed my second novel, and edits have begun! I will be soliciting an agent soon.
Sincerely,
Jillian Ward
Dear Anonymous Donor,
I thank you again for your continued support and belief in me. It could not have come at a better time.
Though ‘thank you’ is all that you might want, the following is a poem that I think you might enjoy. It was written for my poetry class last semester, and is based off a love triangle that is in my current series THE SUB-ROSA LIST. It’s told from the girl’s perspective, just her introverted take on things, but though the poem ends happily . . . it doesn’t give anything away.
Fairytale
“Once upon a time” was no beginning for me
I’d much rather it start, “She always breathed free,”
Not locked in a tower, in a faraway land
Guarded by a Death Dragon, or a mariachi band
I never needed that prince to trot along
Wielding a sword, listening for my song,
He could be handsome, a hero for some
But why can’t I wait for a Harvard boy to come?
Mr. Charming can take his white horse
Find a real damsel with a much smoother course,
Because with me he’ll loose his head:
I have no patience for a castle and a homestead
But his confidence, his sarcasm, those pathetic eyes
He could have won me over with lies,
I warned him I wasn’t a damsel, not in need to be saved
Guess the mariachi band deafened him, since he stayed
This could be a Grimm Brother’s joke
Or romance’s version of a stroke,
But since my fairytale closes with us before a pastor
I guess I can only say, “We lived happily ever after.”
As an update, I am having more fun than I ever have had with editing. VALEDICTION is really coming along. School slowed me a little bit, but hopefully I’ll be sending out to agents very soon. I am signed up for fall semester and have the second novel to THE SUB-ROSA LIST planned out and ready to find life on paper, for which I am extremely excited about.
Thank you again for everything. I wish you well in all the things you do.
Sincerely,
Jillian Ward
